Core Concepts of GEP are the risks, cost and organizational control management that are applied to each of the processes that make up Good Engineering Practice:

  • Good Documentation Practices and Control of Documents
  • Risk to each process should be identified, mitigated and controlled. During this process, risk vs benefits should be evaluated
  • Cost of activities should be understood, assessed and controlled. Value management should be practiced ie evaluate cost vs benefits/quality
  • Organizational – A clear structure of responsibilities should be applied to each process.
