What is this process and document about?
A Project Quality Plan is a set of activities planned at the beginning of a project that helps achieve Quality in the Project being executed.
“Fail to plan, then plan to fail”
This template:
- steps through the processes and documents required to draw up the Plan.
- should be supplemented with project-specific information to produce a Plan that accurately describes the scope of the project, the standards governing the project’s operation, the organization and associated responsibilities, and the goals and objectives specific to the project, are represented.
- although designed for small scale projects, the template can be expanded for complex projects.
- this process is one of the core concept in a Project Quality System (refer flowchart below)
